About Me

I write creative non-fiction, short stories, and sometimes poetry about relationships, body image, mental health, and the impacts of social media on our lives today. I worked as an editor for an online magazine for three years and recently completed my master's in Creative and Critical Writing. I’m Toronto-born and raised, but have lived in Ireland, and now the UK. My writing often explores the meaning of home.

In September 2019, I released a creative project to help raise awareness and reduce the stigma around mental health. The booklet, “How Is Your Depression?” is a collection of personal stories. Read it here.

Experience

I have written for Rendrd, Today’s Parent, Flashpacker Co., Elephant Journal, and more.

“This is so heartfelt and relatable in the way ‘being a messy human’ really is. It portrays what we can all relate to going through versus some fantasy of the things we are supposed to or not supposed to do on the path of moving on.”
